Hershey

Monday, May 21st, 2007

We have our new foster pup with us now. She is adorable and super petite, only 54 pounds. She did great today. She got her first bath. She has gotten along great with Moses. She has already tackled the stairs and is some what getting the hang of her name. She is a big cuddler and likes to give kisses. Enjoy the pictures.

Hersey’s first bath. She was shivering so much that you could hear the metal rattling. Poor doggie

Moses stands a whole head above Hershey. They have got along great so far.

They are just about the same color and have some of the similar markings. Hershey looks like a a miny Moses.

Road Trip

Sunday, May 20th, 2007

I took a really fun road trip to Knoxville, TN with my good friend Amy to see our bible study leader, friend and mentor Monica. Amy asked me to go and we enjoyed driving 12 hours and visiting with Monica and her amazing family for about 24 hours. She took us to the place where she and her husband and a team of church planters have begun a church in Knoxville . It was just so reassuring and a blessing to see what good things God is doing. How awesome is He!

Special Olympics

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

Jason and I volunteered at the Special Olympics last weekend. We were a part of regulating bocce ball. It turns out that most of the people who come to the games have trained for some time an could easily beat joasn and I. We really enjoyed getting to know the awesome, kind and loving athletes. They were all amazing. It always happens that you go to serve and it turns out that you are the one who is being served.P5120074.JPGP5120068.JPG

Door Part 2

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

The door is coming along really well. The floor is level and the door and frame are in place. We even have a door handle beautifully put in my Mr. handyman himself. Dry walling and tile to come soon.

House Remodel

Already we feel that it gives the house a better, more inviting look.

OCD Nachos

Monday, May 7th, 2007

The other day we made nachos and Jason in his true artistic style had to be mad crazy and give each individual nacho the equal amount of toppings. It took like 15 minutes to make his masterpiece but it ended up looking (and tasting) really good. Thought you might like to admire them.

Let there be light

Sunday, May 6th, 2007

In the spirit of home improvement we decided to replace the ugly flower hanging light in our main room. Jason was quite the handy man standing on the table and fixing the new light. It looks great! And it gives us tons of light. Nice move Jason.

Ta-da. The awesome new light. Yeah home improvement.
