We had a great Christmas this year! It was wonderful to be with our families and celebrate our Lord’s birth.

Dinner with Buddy

The Friday before Christmas our Uncle Buddy came home from New York to take the cousins out to dinner at Oceanair. It was delicious and fun as always. Thanks again Buddy!

Winter Storm

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

We had a big snow this past weekend. The weather man predicted a blizzard. I think we lucked out and got about 4-5 inches. Not too bad. The worse thing about the storm was mid-way through we were showered with freezing rain. The freezing rain turned to ice made a perfect environment for some really neat pictures.

Welcome Riley Cate

Monday, December 17th, 2007

I am pleased to announce that our good friends Justin and Megan Herald welcomed their first child into the world Friday. Riley Cate was born Dec 14 at 10:14 pm. She weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. She is so lovely. The entire hour we were visiting she slept as her adoring guests passed her back and forth. She loves to hold her hands close to her face at all times. Congratulations Megan & Justin. She is perfect.

Christmas Tree

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

We put up our Christmas tree this past week. It is beautiful, a small white pine. It smells good too.

We like having the live tree in our house and wish we could figure out something year round, just not decorated. Below are a few more pics of the Christmas Tree farm in Mooresville and the tree. It was beautiful. It had just snowed and all the trees were lovely.

So long Sugar

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

I have good news, our sweet foster dog sugar was adopted by a lovely family this past weekend. Though we only had her 2 weeks we enjoyed getting to know her quirks. She will make a good addition to their home. In other news, Moses is not phased at all. In fact he has been sleeping in the bed we had for her like “ha, I can sleep anywhere now.” No surprises there really. He is an only dog through and through.

Aimie’s Christmas Concert

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

We had the joy of watching my sister and Chris sing at their Christmas concert. It was beautiful; despite the fact that my lil sis felt like puking the whole time. Way to take one for the team Aimie. Plus, she sounded great the whole time.
You both did wonderful! Thanks for inviting us. We had a good time!
