How to Save the Earth: lesson 2

Posted in Rachel for now by Rachel on the March 5th, 2008

Ok, so you’ve already mastered recycling. Congrats. Here is the next eco-friendly challenge: calculate your carbon footprint. I know I mentioned this is the first post but I really encourage you to take a few minutes and figure it out. Jason and I did it in 10 mins or less. This website then gives you suggestions how you can reduce your impact on the environment. I’m not trying to get you to give money just trying to raise awareness. If you happen to calculate yours please post a comment and let me know what you think.

Here’s the website again: http://www.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.aspx

hey, rachel, i checked out my carbon footprint, and it turns out flying around the world each year probably isn’t great for the environment! maybe we’ll settle down somewhere and help the earth stay green! :o)
