Our good friends Chad & Libby from small group are expecting their first child near the beginning of March.  This past weekend we had a baby shower for Libby to celebrate the upcoming addition to the family. We had a fun time eating, hanging out & talking all about babies. The decorations & food were a hit (thanks Lauren & Megan).

Again congrats to Chad & Libby. We look forward to helping you welcome your first baby into the family. Know that we’ll be praying for you as you finish up these last couple month of pregnancy & for that matter life as you know it.

Sorry, I’ve been a little neglectful of the blog lately. Just busy I guess. Anyway, I was supposed to work on Christmas day but thankfully I got called off so we were able to celebrate Christmas with my family. We always enjoy spending time with them and catching up with extended family. The gifts were nice and the company even better. We didn’t take many pictures but here is a picture of me and my beautiful sister. I love you guys. Thanks for a wonderful Christmas.

So its officially 2009, by a week almost. We hope that you all enjoyed ringing in the new year in various ways. We went out to eat with our friends Lauren & Aaron and watched the ball drop. Our best plans in the last 3 years since I didn’t have to work.

Jason’s family tradition is to have corn-beef and cabbage for lunch and then reubens for dinner to ring in the new year.

This year we decided to fix our own. It turned out okay. In our usual procrastinating style, we went looking for brisket New Years Eve and 2 stores were out. Jason decided that a pot roast would be close. Turns out that its not really. But at least we tried. Welcome 2009. Welcome
