Easter was great this  year! (how could celebrating our Risen Lord ever be bad   though?) Jason did a chalk art - which was great. We had dinner with Jason’s family and then my own.  Here are some preview pics below but check out the album on the Photo Album Page.

Just wanted to thank everyone for a great birthday. Especially my amazing husband. We had a good time for sure.

He is almost a year old!

Driving to work can be stressful for some but not for me. It’s where I find peace in my day, from Danville to Greencastle. The past few weeks have been especially captivating. Each day on the bleeding edge of the sun just as the light cuts the sky leaving it blood red while cutting through the darkness. As I drive, I can’t help dreaming as if I am a knight riding into the darkness to save those lost in the darkness of this world. In the dream I never save anyone because the light always beats me to those in darkness. Secretly, I am glad I don’t make it before the darkness. I am not sure what I would do if I did beat the light. What can I do to deliver the people from the darkness? AlI I can do is tell them that the light is coming… the sun will be here soon… take heart your deliver is on his way…

We finished up the week in Naples with my Grandpa and Grandma C. They were equally amazing hosts as they showed us the best Naples has to offer- including their company. We admired the beautiful sunsets on the beach. Hunted glimpses of alligators safely from the car - except for Jason who was brave and got out to take pics. We enjoyed lots of good food. Explored the art fare. The sun was gorgeous at the pool. We road bikes and walked a bit. Mostly just relaxed though. Oh and don’t forget euchre.

We totally enjoyed the first part of our vacation to Florida. We had fun adventures with Grandpa and Grandma Shore walking the beach and eating Wahoo Willie’s best grouper sandwich. We were privileged to play shuffle board with the Beache’s best and even got a few lessons. We dinned on the water and saw a boat. We chowed down at Sweet Tomatoes and hiked through the slough. We got to see where Angie works and admire the big banyan tree. We cheered at a Everblades game and ate pizza way too late at night. Overall we enjoyed the company and hospitality of our hostesses and hosts. It was lovely. Not to mention the weather was amazing as well. Thanks for a great time in Fort Myers !!
