Yesterday my sister, Aimie, graduated from U Indy! She graduated with her Bachelors of Arts for music education. The ceremony was very nice and we were glad to be there. Way to go sis! We are so proud of you. It was a fun day to celebrate all Aimie has accomplished and be with family. Here are some pictures from the day.

The other night my brother, an up and coming local chef, brought over the most delicious dessert I have tasted in awhile. He made a caramel apple tart with an almond meringue. Wonderful! I am so lucky to have a younger brother that can make excellent (in this case comfort) food. God is good.
Way to go Dave - it was great. Thanks for sharing. To my readers: Seriously - I know you’re mouth is watering now if you’ve read this. Let me know - I’m sure he can whip you something up if your interested for a small fee.

We were so thankful to be able to celebrate with our family that the Lord has risen this Sunday. Jason did a chalk art that morning at church. We really enjoyed worship. Then off to lunch with Jason’s fam and dinner with mine. Here is a group shot from the day.

Yesterday we headed to Chicago to celebrate our nephew’s third birthday. We had a great time. The party was at Pump It Up which is a huge room full of inflatable slides, jumping areas and obstacle courses. After tons of running and playing we headed back to their house for presents and playing. Happy Birthday Jack! We love you! See all the pictures in the photo album.

Our friends Justin & Megan welcomed their second child, Landon Gregory, into the world Monday April 6th. He was a couple weeks early but Mom & baby are doing just fine. Luckily I was able to visit today and see how cute he is.
Congrats Megan & Justin. He is just wonderful.

As most of you know my lovely younger sister is marrying the man of her dreams this July. We are all very excited. To gear up for the event and also help all her bridesmaids get to know each other we had a fun filled event on Saturday. First we attended a Mary Kay party for facials. Then we headed to the mall for smoothies and some cute outfits to wear out that night. Then we went to the Spaghetti Factory for a yummy meal and headed to Howl at the Moon for some music and fun.
I had a great time meeting all of Aimie’s super cool and nice friends. I am glad that I get to be apart of her big day. I love you sis!

This past weekend we went to Lexington to see Jason’s friend Brian get married. The wedding itself was beautiful. It was fun to be apart of such a special day. We got to hang out with Scott from Purdue and check out his church. We also enjoyed visiting with our friends Johnny and Jenny and meeting their son Johnathan who is now 4. Overall, it was a fun weekend of celebration and renewing friendships. Thanks Johnny & Jenny for such great hospitality and your continued friendship over the years. We are very grateful for you and all you’ve done.
I am a little behind due to my trip to Florida but I wanted to post this picture from Aimie’s senior recital. Not only was she gorgeous, she did a great job. As always we are really proud of her. Way to go Aimie! You rocked it. You have a beautiful voice that we always enjoy listening to. We love you!!
